1. Into the Day

I hadn't left the woods in a while.
Then I went out, I went for miles.
The moon was big and the water was clear.
I saw my face I said, "I shaved your beard."

You would not believe my life!
I feel pretty good, not uptight.
Off with the dawning sun goes the moon light.
Come and go and come again

I'll take what I have
I'll take the good from the bad
You can fill my head you can stomp my heart
You can knock me up the head or rip me apart

But, I can go another way
I can walk for days in a daze for days
You lose attention, you fade away
I'm riding and writing and riding into the day!
